    7:45 p.m. SHARP, meet in front of Theatre.

FRI MAY 29 -- FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

  FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS.  
  Pink Final Transcript Request Forms are available in the Guidance Office. Only one college should receive your final transcript. If you have already used your two free transcripts, there will be a charge of $10. Submit your transcript request to the Registrar's Office by Fri May 29.
If you've taken a college course (e.g., at Foothill), it will not automatically appear on your Paly transcript. Contact the registrar at the college.

 
     
     



MON JUN 1 -- YEARBOOKS

  TEXTBOOK BILLS & LIBRARY FINES.  
  If you have outstanding textbook bills or library fines, you must clear them before you can get your yearbook. Please return library books and/or pay library fines to the library; return textbooks and/or pay textbook fines to the appropriate department office.
 
     
  SENIOR YEARBOOKS.  
  Come get your yearbook!
Mon-Tue Jun 1 & 2, seniors only;
Wed Jun 3 - Mon Jun 8, everyone.
Where: archway corridor between Theatre & Tower Bldg.
Time: From start of 7th period to 30 min after end of school.

  BUS SIGNUPS FOR PICNIC & GRAD NIGHT.  
  Tue-Wed Jun 2-3, Senior Deck, Lunch.  
     
     



FRI JUN 5 -- TEXTBOOKS / LIBRARY FINES

  TEXTBOOK BILLS & LIBRARY FINES.  
  We hate to keep bringing this up, but Seniors who still have outstanding textbook bills or library fines after Fri Jun 5 will not be able to participate in Grad Week activities. Please return textbooks and/or pay fines as soon as possible!
 
     
     





SUN JUN 7 -- BACCALAUREATE

  BACCALAUREATE SERVICE FOR CLASS OF 2009.  
  More formal than the Graduation Ceremony. Students & guest speaker(s) from the community. Seniors MUST wear caps & gowns and line up at 12:30 p.m. to participate. This event is open to guests. A great opportunity for family photos. Some families plan gatherings following this event since it's less hectic than Grad Night.
Sun Jun 7, Memorial Auditorium, Stanford. [map] --
12:30 p.m., Graduates line up in cap & gown.
  1:00-2:00, Baccalaureate Service

Directions: Embarcadero Rd, across El Camino, becomes Galvez St. Road splits; bear left. Driveable portion of Galvez ends at Serra. On foot, turn right on Serra; Memorial Hall is on right, next to fountain.
 
     
     



MON JUN 8 -- LOCKER CLEANOUT

  LOCKER CLEANOUT DEADLINE FOR SENIORS.  
  Please have your locker cleaned out by this date. (Locker cleanout for students in grades 9, 10, & 11 is later in the week.)
 
     
     



TUE JUN 9 -- REHEARSAL & PICNIC

  MANDATORY GRADUATION REHEARSAL.  
  Dress for the Picnic! (See below.)
MANDATORY graduation rehearsal, and then the Class Picnic.
Tue Jun 9 , on the Quad, 8:00 a.m.
(Rehearsal ends 9:30 a.m.; Picnic ends about 5 p.m.)
 
     
  GRADUATION TICKETS.  
  Each senior receives 10 tickets for guests. Grad tickets are distributed after Graduation Rehearsal, provided all obligations are met (fines paid, books returned, etc). Students who plan to participate in the ceremony *MUST* attend the grad practice!  
     
  NEED HANDICAPPED SEATING?  
  After Graduation Rehearsal, get "ordinary" tickets. Then see Vallen Queen in the School Office. Turn in an ordinary ticket and get back a handicapped ticket, which is good for handicapped person + 1 attendant.  
     
  SENIOR CLASS PICNIC.  
  All-day event for Paly seniors ONLY.
Check in 9:30 a.m. in front of Theatre. Buses take students from Paly to Secret Beach Location, & return to the Paly parking lot at 5:00 p.m.
Lunch is provided.
Wear shorts or swimsuit; bring towels & a cover.
Shirts are required. Sneakers recommended.
BRING SUNSCREEN!
Bring spending money if desired.
Tue Jun 9, "undisclosed beach location", 10:00-5:00.

  Backpacks, etc., will be thoroughly searched. Remember -- any infraction will result in not being able to participate in any graduation activity. Avoid bringing valuables -- bring them at your own risk.  
     
     



WED JUN 10 -- COMMENCEMENT

  COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY & RECEPTION  
  CONGRATULATIONS
to the PALY CLASS of 2009!

Dress for the Grad Night Party --
there's no time or place to change clothes.
Wed Jun 10, on the Quad --
  4:30 p.m., Seniors must be at the Library.
  4:30 p.m., Graduation ticket holders admitted (saving seats not permitted).
  4:45 p.m., Seniors line up, behind Library, in caps & gowns (mandatory).
  5:45 p.m., Commencement Ceremony.
  7:15 p.m., Reception for graduates & their families, hosted by Junior class parents.
 
     
     



WED JUN 10 -- GRAD NIGHT

  WHAT TO WEAR TO GRAD NIGHT PARTY  
  Casual, comfortable attire — jeans are okay. Please also bring a sweatshirt or light jacket — it may be chilly on the buses in the early morning return ride.
